Description

Low vision users and industry professionals are impressed with OrCam Read’s accuracy and convenience factor. It is possible to adjust the sensitivity of the touch bar, although I did not play with this feature at all during my evaluation. In the February 2017 issue of AccessWorld, contributing author Bill Holton briefly took OrCam through its paces, and came away from that experience fairly impressed. If you have any questions or would like to book a home demonstration, we’d be delighted to assist you. I have not had much experience with advanced technology, and I was able to easily use this device, especially with the help of AdaptiVision.

The device tends to be fairly accurate with medical and scientific terminology though not 100% accurate. Some prerelease versions of OrCam Eye used bone conduction earphones, but for the release version these have been replaced by a single speaker with sound output directed toward the user's right ear.Smart Reading - Simply ask for the text that interests you: “Read the headlines,” “Read amounts,” or “Start from” a specific section (like “desserts” in a menu).
