Those who are familiar with my tests know that I don’t do the scientific breakdown or photograph brick walls; I take equipment on real assignments and shoots. Compact and extremely well-built, it features similar high-end resolving power and shallow depth of field characteristics of the renowned M.The rated minimum focusing distance is 25cm from the image sensor plane, hence it is about 20cm from the front of the lens to the subject, and that is respectable. Discover the impressive depth of field control whatever your subject and admire the natural clarity it brings to your photography. I have been out this morning for a Sunday stroll with this combination and it feels so light and compact that I hardly even noticed that I was carrying the camera.

This is my first visit to admiring light; I like the thoroughness of the reviews and their qualitative (instead of quantitative) points of view. Is it that new camera engine which makes those ugly noisy (unnutural looking noise) ISO 200 images ? I think the Leica is still my main choice as the optics are zero compromise; it’s also something I’ve been shooting with little break since 1989. It felt and still feels visually comfortable, right for me though not everyone's cup of photographic tea. I hope it comes soon to a distributor (here in the Philippines) so I can have my first 50mm equivalent lens.I am thinking of doing a side by side comparison between these two 25mm lenses, but this comparison (for my Part 2 of the Olympus M. One of the characteristics of this new lens is that only the lens at the back moves, which also contributes to better image quality. The performance of this lens alone makes it a versatile piece of equipment, perfect for when you don’t want to carry around multiple lenses.

The balance of the finance agreement is payable directly to Novuna Consumer Finance in equal monthly instalments by monthly direct debit. This means you can keep your lens looking smart, even if you don't want to take the hood with you, if that's important to you, of course. However, there is a nice solidness and a bit of heft, which gives it an enjoyable, high-quality and well-built feel. I do not know of any other words to describe the bokeh rendering, but please do look at the many, many images of different subjects I have shot to get an idea of what the lens can do.just to clear off some confusion, 50mm focal length in traditional 35mm format is equivalent to the M. One way to create shallower depth of field, to compensate for the smaller sensor size, is to go nearer to your subject. From the images, you can see the quality of the Olympus and as you say, it also has the size and weight advantage. Those are more important to me than 1 stop of bokeh…especially since there is not one stop greater light gathering.

It has something to do with how natural and now normal the images look and feel from this perspective.Lens (in BLACK) is a perfect standard prime, with 50mm equivalent focal length on 2x crop Micro Four Thirds (MFT / M43) mirrorless camera systems including Olympus OM-D, PEN, Panasonic G Series, Blackmagic MFT cameras. However, if 35mm perspective resonates with you better, and if you do feel the need to shoot a normal view "wider", then the M. The compact design makes it an excellent walk-around, every day lens that's great for portraits and low-light shooting, as well as general purpose photography. MPB will also keep you informed about the status of your gear at every step of the way and the whole process is carbon neutral. With this lens you can achieve the desired smooth bokeh effect in the background of your subjects – even in low light.
