Images bring MacCormack’s stories to life, showing the places he and Bowie inhabited, the people they met and the adventures they shared.

All images are limited to only 100 editions, with each print individually numbered, and either stamped or embossed and signed by Geoff on the front, ready to be framed. I just took this one shot only and I’m still amazed at how calm he is just before performing a major show to a London audience. Beginning at Burnt Ash Primary school in the mid-1950s, where Bowie and MacCormack discovered their passion for music to touring the Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane shows and sailing to New York on a world tour, to Bowie’s first major film The Man Who Fell to Earth and the recording of Station to Station, MacCormack was there touring, recording, and traveling with the man who changed rock music. The Collection has been re-scanned (drum) to a high standard, using Gallery quality archival giclee prints on Hahnemuhle Photorag Pearl 320gsm 100% cotton. This richly illustrated work documents the three years MacCormack spent writing, recording, performing, living, and travelling with David Bowie. About Geoff MacCormack: Geoff MacCormack, David Bowie’s lifelong friend, joined Bowie’s 1973 world tour as an additional back-up vocalist and percussionist, and later as a ‘Diamond Dog’ in ’74 and what would be known as ‘The Young Americans Soul Tour’. The book contains nearly 150 photos taken by MacCormack throughout the years, some never seen before: from touring the Ziggy Stardust and Aladdin Sane shows and sailing to New York on a world tour, to Bowie’s first major film The Man Who Fell to Earth and the recording of Station to Station and his Thin White Duke persona. Photography was purely a hobby for me for about five minutes – it just happened to be the right five minutes.

Friend and back up singer, these prints from Geoffs personal archive, showcase Bowie’s early career from ‘Ziggy Stardust’ to ’Station to Station. We are experiencing delays with deliveries to many countries, but in most cases local services have now resumed. We had a few drinks (copious) with some tourists and young Russian soldiers who said they were in the construction unit.

Original red imitation morocco backed, padded buckram boards, titles in gilt to spine and in brown to silk label to front cover, illustrated endpapers, edges gilt. From Station to Station is the story of those three amazing years, together with my previously unpublished photographs of Bowie at work and at play.
